My Take on "Rainbow Eyes"
So I was bored today and decided to try a fun Michelle Phan video tutorial. I chose "Rainbow Eyes".
On my eyes, I used I used Maybelline New York "The Collassal Volum' Express" MAC gel eyeliner in "Carbon" and four different MAC eyeshadows: "Silly Goose", "Hepcat", "Unreally Blue", and "Brown Down". On my cheeks is On my lips is MAC "Red Essence" (Guess who got a ton of MAC makeup from her aunt!)

Using Your Resources: Magazines
Magazines. No matter how internet focused the world becomes, Magazines will always be a great source of entertainment for a relaxing day.
1. There are so many magazines available and it can be hard to choose which ones to read; especially if you're on a budget.
The first step to saving with magazines is to subscribe. If you are constantly buying magazines off the rack in stores, it can end up costing you a lot more than it should. For example, the cover price of one issue of InStyle Magazine is $3.99. If you buy every issue for that year, you will have paid $51.87 not including tax. However if you subscribe to InStyle you pay only $1.92 an issue adding up to only $19.50 a year, saving you about $32.
2. After narrowing down the number of magazines you decide to subscribe to each year, you can still read the articles from the ones you don't by visiting their websites. Many magazine will give you daily articles, videos, and tips daily and some even post the exact articles from their issues. You can buy clothes from their latest issue and enter contests.
3. Many magazines offer their readers discounts on featured stores and merchandise. They will be posted throughout the issue or listed on their websites. The publishers of InStyle Magazine have created their own website just for deals.

Free Stuff: Music
There are millions of ways to download music; legally or illegally. While illegal songs are always free, it doesn't give any credit to the artists who make them. Here are three ways to save on music or get it for free:
1. Band websites- If the band or artist is not well known or is newly discovered, they usually offer a free download of one of their songs.
2. Discovery Downloads- Every Tuesday, iTunes offers two to three songs available for free. Usually they are new artists and bands but sometimes they offer new songs by well-known popular artists or they release songs right before they come popular (ex: Tik Tok- Ke$ha). Either way it is a great way to discover new music.
3. Youtube- I internet is available almost everywhere you go, and youtube lets you listen to songs and watch videos for free, there is almost no reason to buy music. Instead of buying a song as soon as you hear it, try listening to it a few times online first. There is a high chance that it will quickly be replaced as your favorite by another new song, or if it is really popular, you will hear it everywhere you go.

Use Your Social Skills
Technology allows us to keep in touch with people all over the world and share our ideas. It also helps us become insiders with our favorites stores and designers. Being in on a secret sale or discount can be as simple as hitting "Like", "Follow", or "Subscribe".
The advantages of different social networking sites vary depending on the store. Stores on Facebook will usually tell their fans about sales before anyone else and offer contests only available to fans. Followers of stores, designers, and magazines on Twitter will usually receive special discount codes, tips on how to wear or use their product, and contests.
Many stores want people to sign up for their email lists so much that they offer a certain amount off of their next order. By receiving daily or weekly emails, you have access to secret sales, coupon codes, and sneak peeks at new collections. Email isn't the only mail you should subscribe to however. A store's catalog sometimes comes with a coupon or code to use on your next order.

Enter Contests
Click here for a list of contests and check other magazines that you read and websites you visit even for more.
One of the easiest ways to get something you want is by entering contests. Whether you want a new bag, a new car, or cash, there are contests for it.
There are hundreds of people all over the world that want to give you things for free! For many of them, all you have to do is enter a few pieces of information about yourself; it takes only a few seconds. Some require you to do more such as telling them why you want to win the contest, or submitting a photo of yourself; only a few more minutes for a prize that is well worth it right?
There are two main mistakes people make when entering contests online:
- Not entering because they aren't interested in the prize
- Not reading or glancing at the rules
Fix Number One: Even if you do not like the prize, enter it anyway. Chances are, someone else does want it. Think of your situation: If you have a friend who could use that prize and they just happen to have a birthday coming up, it can be the perfect gift. Another option is to sell the prize for a little less than what it goes for in store for 100% profit
Fix number Two: You should always glance at the rules to check the minimum or maximum age requirement and the number of entries allowed. It does no good to enter a contest when you aren't even old enough. If this is the case, ask your parents if you can enter them. I'm sure they will be okay with receiving anything for free.
The number of entries is important because it can give you a better chance at winning. Most contests only allow one entry per person but some allow you to enter multiple times, increasing your chances.
Whenever you win a contest, the feeling is great, but when you don't win, don't get discouraged because a win will eventually come!
I hope this post was helpful and good luck!
